Hurrah! Construction is almost over for Phase I!
During our summer of renovation, the Valley Art Center is remaining open
Monday-Friday 10-4. We will be closed Saturdays until September 6th. See our renovation page to track our progress remodeling our gallery and
classrooms.

Fall Classes Start September 15th

Our Fall course catalog will be mailed the week of August 11th. But you

Volunteer!

Join the many valuable volunteers who donate their time and talents to the Valley Art Center. Contact Laurie Nalepa, Volunteer Coordinator at 440-247-7507 today!

Our Volunteer Opportunities Include:

• Painting & Moving: We need lots of volunteers on Saturday, August 16th from 10-4 to help clean and prepare our stainless steel cabinets. Then, we will need lots more folks on Saturday, September 6th from 10-4 to paint furniture and cabinets and assist with the move back. VAC to provide lunch and beverages.

• Administrative: process mailings, distribute catalogs and posters, make phone calls.

• Community Outreach: staff informational booths at community events.

• Fundraiser: set up, tear down, and staff the 2009 Get 'Er Done Annual Fundraiser

• Gallery: process entries, register artwork, hang shows.

• Receptions: set up and serve refreshments

• Facilities: paint and spackle gallery walls, paint classroom tables, sandwich boards, and gallery pedestals.

• Art by the Falls: assist in organizing the event, set up tents, tables, and signage, staff booths, manage raffle, and more.

• Friends of the Valley Art Center: Become a founding member of a very special group of volunteers who will promote, support, and enhance the Art Center's programming.
